CPD - It's not just going on courses

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is about developing expertise. So it is not just training! CPD is largely a part of what we already do – learning from student feedback, reflecting on peer observation, curriculum development and so on. 

YOU ARE PROBABLY ALREADY DOING LOTS OF ACTIVITIES THAT COULD BE PART OF CPD WORK.

This website is here to suggest ways and provide toolkits and strategies to make the process more systematic, rigorous, disciplined and extended over time, so it becomes recordable and recognisable. This is not necessarily research as you would define it (although it could be!), but it involves taking a research stance towards your teaching – a scholarly, critical, enquiry-based approach.
